A young boy's memory led to two arrests in connection with a robbery Friday.
A clerk at a Kangaroo Express on Southwest 43rd Street told police that a man entered the store holding a handgun and demanded $2,000 in money orders, Alachua County Sheriff's Office spokesman Art Forgey said.
The clerk, Christopher T. Cobb, 22, said he was unable to describe the man, but an 11-year-old boy who had been in the store described the clothes and facial features of three suspicious men in great detail, Forgey said.
Police arrested Kangaroo ex-employee, Tyrek Sims, 19, who was wearing the exact clothes the boy described.
Cobb was also arrested in connection with the robbery. Forgey said no gun was involved.
