Angela Napolitano day-to-day with hyper-extended knee

Junior midfielder Angela Napolitano limped out to the practice field on Tuesday and was not participating in warm-ups.

Coach Becky Burleigh said she was day-to-day with a hyper-extended right knee and was unsure if she would be ready to go in time for Friday's match against No. 18 Illinois. The injury occured in the 85th minute of Sunday's match at Florida State.

"We are just going to have to wait and see how she progresses this week," Burleigh said.

Napolitano has started all five games for the Gators and has scored two goals this season, both at home against Nebraska.
