Relationships can drive you mad.

I recently became semi-involved with a guy, and no sooner had I entered this semi-relationship than I went semi-insane.

No doubt, the real thing would have landed me in the nearest asylum.

At first, I was addicted to his company. Then I wanted my independence, which brought argument. But when I grew lonely, the cycle repeated. I was stubborn and indecisive, which hindered our relationship. What's worse is we didn't talk about it. Refusing to admit my faults and misplacing blame had morphed me into a jealous, insecure woman.

After several fights, I decided we needed to talk. Neither of us was benefiting from the current situation, and if he knew how I felt, maybe we could stop fighting.

But I quickly realized that even if he wore a 36D bra and painted his nails pink, he would still be a boy and never fully understand my feelings.

Guys and girls are polar opposites. Women are planners and thinkers while men are doers. Females can plan a night out days in advance, from outfits to possible scenarios where the only thing missing is male participation.

We understand that cars break down, or you had other plans, but you need to understand that we need attention and explanation.

After all the fighting, the end result is usually make-up sex. What do you expect when you pit catty women against laid-back men? Make-up sex can help. It fully restored my sanity. Sometimes an orgasm is the best way to resolve a fight.

However, it shouldn't be your only solution. The only way to heal the wound is to do some genuine communicating that doesn't involve a bed, couch or backseat.
