Police arrested a Gainesville man early Monday morning after he admitted to looking at women through their bedroom windows and taking pictures of one of the women when she was partially nude.
Matthew A. Henry, 43, was found at The Polos apartment complex around 2 a.m. in front of a woman's window with his pants open and his genitals exposed, according to his arrest report.
When asked what he was doing, Henry said he had heard someone singing and thought the voice was beautiful, the report stated.
He said he had been walking around the complex when he heard a woman singing, but that when he tried to look through her window, he couldn't see anything because the blinds were closed, according to the report.
The woman said she recognized Henry as someone she has seen twice at Library West and said she thought he had followed her home. She said Henry stood outside her bedroom window while she changed her clothes.
Henry also told police he had been to the complex the previous night and taken pictures of another woman in her bedroom.
