This season, models marched down runways blinding onlookers. The pages of May's In Style magazine look more like colors found in a candy shop, and even Forever 21's latest frocks are inspired by Vitamin C. It's official, girls, summer is here, and as Posh Spice might say: Bold colors are going to be major.

Think the hottest pinks, the most vibrant yellows, the boldest blues and the juiciest oranges. These palettes were featured in Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and Badgley Mischka's spring and summer 2008 collections.

Everything from shorts to flowy dresses, skinny jeans and sky-high stilettos look brilliant in these hues. No color is too bold this season. And for the daring, mixing a combination of these colors as a top and bottom ensemble will show you've mastered the style of Versace's latest collection.

Even Essie's new line of nail polishes promises to "shake up your summer with six hot shades." My personal favorites are "Risky Business," a cool coral, and "Movers and Shakers," which is a bright pink.

Makeup products are also getting on board with the latest trends. M.A.C has paired with fashion designing duo Heatherette, best known for experimenting with outrageous colors and glitter, to create a line of lipsticks, glosses and shadows that Paris Hilton and just about any girly girl would die for.

This season's clothes, accessories and makeup trends call for the bravest of fashionistas. So if you want to be the hottest girl spotted on University Avenue, you can't be afraid to take risks with bold colors this summer.
