I am writing in response to Friday's editorial giving the Florida House of Representatives a "dart" for passing a bill requiring that an ultrasound be taken and the option of viewing that ultrasound be given to a woman before an abortion.

The liberal editorial board revealed much more than they realized about liberal thought regarding abortion in this very small paragraph. First, I believe the editorial board unwittingly admitted that if a woman actually chose to view the ultrasound, she would feel discouraged from having an abortion. At least we finally have liberals on the record as admitting that true and accurate information would discourage women from obtaining abortions.

Second, the women have the option to view the ultrasound. It is not required at all. She can simply say "no." I thought that's what liberals wanted. More "choice."
