The Orange and Blue Party's mistaken accusations that Florida Sunshine Laws were violated during Replacement and Agenda interviews this weekend are not only completely invalid, but also aimed at their own party leader.
During my term as senator, I am honored to have the opportunity to work with outstanding senators. These senators have accomplished mid-year budget reviews, fiscally responsible and growth-facilitating management by the Allocations Committee, and a more effective way for students to reach out to constituents through the reforms of the Rules and Ethics Committee. The many bills passed on behalf of the Judiciary Committee, and the tremendous efforts by the Information and Communication Committee, have made senators and constituents aware of each committee's progress.
Based on these recent accomplishments, the recommendations of the R&A Committee have been justified many times over. I hope that the Orange and Blue Party will come to realize that rather than fabricate offenses as a balm to their own hurt feelings, it is much more important to work together to improve the University of Florida for every student.
