Letter to the Editor
By Derek Clenzi, 2BA
I've been a student on campus for two years now, and I vote in elections because I feel they're important and that at least SG does accomplish some things for the students.
In response to Wednesday's front-page article, to all online-voting protestors and the Orange and Blue Party, I have to put my foot down.
As a concerned student, I insist that SG and the people up for elected positions are absolutely worth the trip to a voting booth in the Reitz Union, Turlington Plaza or wherever else.
The Orange and Blue Party is preaching to an empty audience, and the way we vote pales in comparison to who we elect.
It claims it is speaking for the entire student body, but I must disagree.
Online voting is not the answer.
