Regarding Tigran Kesayan's Friday letter, apparently Mr. Kesayan has never been exposed to Dr. McCarthy's work before - otherwise he would at least know that his name is not James McCarthy but Justin McCarthy. If you don't even know somebody's real name, how can you question his scientific work?

Unlike Tigran Kesayan's claims, there is no strong evidence supporting a state-sponsored plan by the Ottoman government aimed at the extermination of the whole Armenian minority in the empire. Finally, Kesayan drops Deborah Lipstadt's name without being aware that Ms. Lipstadt herself had earlier, in her "Denying the Holocaust" book, concluded the Armenian experience "was not part of a process of total annihilation of an entire people."

So, simply saying "Dr. McCarthy ignores historical facts" is nothing but an attempt to cover up the other side of the story.
