I am appalled at the lack of outrage that I have seen about the recent exclusion of Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich from a nationally televised debate.
This situation speaks to larger flaws in the presidential election process, among which is the fact that the media decide which candidates are "electable." Americans should be outraged that the media have succeeded in silencing all but the top three Democratic presidential candidates and, as a result, has limited the choices available to voters.
We have the media to thank for fooling us into believing that only certain candidates are worth our votes. I urge everyone to do some independent research about what each presidential candidate stands for and to vote for whoever embodies your values. Don't let the media choose your president for you.
