Change to Bring Futures discriminatory

The proposed changes to the Bright Futures program are ridiculous. The change, along with the possibility of tuition increases and the likelihood of universities accepting fewer freshmen, would make college more difficult for many students.

While I understand these changes are to encourage students to major in careers that will be in high demand in the future, I feel that it would sway students with other talents to not pursue their dreams. Every college student deserves an equal chance to succeed in the career of his or her choice. Students should contact the local senator, Steve Oelrich, and ask him to vote against this proposition.
