As a professional student, I will graduate six figures in debt.
I know the rewards will be worth it; however, like most college students, I am scraping by.
It isn't fair that, as a Bright Futures recipient, I learned I will receive ,225 for books instead of ,300 from a local newspaper and not by letter or e-mail from the Florida Legislature. Some students may rely on that measly ,75 to get a required book for one of their classes.
I also think it is ridiculous that we may be charged up to ,10 for a transcript.
The technology fee and a gradual raise in tuition is understandable, but to charge 10 bucks for a piece of paper is too much.
Maybe we should use Machen's ,8,000 a year for pimping out his car to pay for them.
