In response to Mr. Cox's Tuesday column, it could be said that all men are insensitive jocks who are solely concerned with the length and girth of their penises; but it's just not true. Neither is the depiction of all women as addicts of "objects of beautification" who are so needy of modern amenities that they are completely detached from the natural world.
While this stereotype may be true for some women, the generalization of all women as creatures of the indoors is extremely fallacious and ridiculous. It is possible that you surround yourself primarily with such women so it's the only truth you know. But it's not the whole truth.
Some words of truth - women have a strong connection with the natural world. Women get dirty, make fires, pee outside, and yes, women fart, too. Maybe Mr. Cox should broaden his horizons.
And by the way - you can't conquer nature.
