Christmas shows don't usually include a rap by Santa.

But Wednesday night's "Toys for Laughs: A Crunk Christmas Comedy," which benefited the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, was different from most Christmas shows.

Improv comics Brian Jaeger, a UF alumnus; Ross Asdourian, a UF telecommunication senior; Jeff Quintana, an improv teaching assistant; and Brandon Wurns, a UF graduate student, put on two performances.

The earlier "nice" version and the later "naughty" version raised more than ,400 and collected more than 40 toys.

"We're not purposely going out of our way to be naughty," Wurns said. "We're just not censoring ourselves."

But the two shows differed in their finales.

At the end of the "nice" show, the four played a game called "Eggnog Slaps," in which players were punished for saying certain words by taking shots of eggnog or getting slapped.

The "naughty" show ended with the messier "Eggnog Torture," in which one player kept his head submerged in a bucket of eggnog at all times.

Three gallons of eggnog were purchased for the shows, Wurns said.

Asdourian said the four had never performed by themselves but had worked together in shows benefiting cancer patients and victims of Hurricane Katrina.

UF graduate student Nichole Fuller brought a jumbling tower game to the show.

"I think it's awesome," she said. "I've known some families where the kids don't really get anything, and it's nice when they do. It's nice that this group is supporting that."

Wurns said the cost of renting out the Acrosstown Repertory Theatre for the night came out of pocket.

"It's a lot of fun and it's for a good cause," he said. "It benefits everyone."
