Since we're all here at UF hoping our education leads to a high-paying job, let me give you some quick advice on how to make an easy ,40,000:
Go to law school.
Become buddies with the son of an extremely wealthy and powerful politician.
Ride this person's coattails as long as you can, regardless of what ethical morasses may appear.
If issues of international law and human rights abuses appear, ignore them or rationalize them away, regardless of the validity of your argument. If running a company, fire anyone who disagrees with these rationalizations or your powerful buddy.
If forced to fess up to knowing you made decisions contrary to the U.S. Constitution or international law, plead ignorance.
Resign (after irreparable damage to the institution you were working for was done and the international reputation of your country is in tatters).
Charge UF ,40,000 so you can come speak about how patriotic and civil you really are and how you are an example of the American Dream coming true.
If you need a mentor, ask Alberto Gonzales - I hear he's coming to campus soon.
