I'm sure Kyle Cox hasn't done a lot of things in his life as I haven't either. But to say that you cannot criticize someone because of never doing those things is ridiculous.
Charlie Weis is in fact the University of Notre Dame's head coach and as such deserves the heat that he is under. When the United States heads to war, can we say the president is doing a horrible job and that we have no right going? Of course not, because we've never been a president.
What about CNN and Fox News and all those news channels constantly talking about people's decisions? Should they be taken off the air because they are not letting people do their jobs?
Cox's argument is fundamentally flawed and should not have even been a column. Just because I've never been a football head coach doesn't mean I can't see how horrible of a coach Charlie Weis is. I think it's funny that Cox invites me to try out for football. I don't understand the logic here: Do I have to do and be everything in life in order to have an opinion of it? No. Let me say what I want.
