I'm writing in response to Vincent Massaro's bashing of Accent in Monday's column. Vincent claimed he was on Accent staff three years ago. I have one question: Bitter? His issue with Accent Speaker's Bureau must be personal because I can't believe any person would take the time or energy to complain about a U.S. senator coming to speak for free.
Vincent's biggest point is that Sen. John Kerry is now irrelevant, a failed presidential candidate who no one wants to hear. I'm pretty sure people would rather listen to Kerry than Massaro's vendetta against Accent. He also said he'd like to take future Accent speaker and assisted-suicide supporter Jack Kevorkian with him in case the pain of Kerry's speech becomes too unbearable.
Here's an idea, Vincent - don't go, and save a seat for someone interested.
