Florida redshirt junior quarterback Graham Mertz is ruled out for the rest of the Gators' game against the No. 11 Mizzou Tigers.
He left the game in the third quarter after he lowered his shoulder on a quarterback scramble to convert a first down. He stayed on for another play, but grabbed his shoulder after the next play. He left the game for x-rays, according to ESPN broadcast.
Mertz later returned to the sideline, in an overcoat and had his arm in a sling, and was ruled out for the rest of the game, according to the ESPN broadcast. His status for UF's game against Florida State is not yet known.
