Dan Matthews, a UF mechanical engineering senior, drives the UF Formula SAE race vehicle along a course set up in the Commuter Lot on Gale Lemerand Drive on Sunday afternoon. The 8-foot-long vehicle is a representation of an F1 racecar and is designed and built by the Gator Motorsports Formula Team. It will be entered in a national competition later this year.
