Gainesville Police arrested a local man Wednesday after he repeatedly masturbated in two restaurants.
Officers arrested Prince Simmons, 27, on charges of stalking, loitering and prowling, exposure of sexual organs and resisting an officer without violence.
For the last few months, a Planet Smoothie employee had been reporting to police that Simmons went into the business and masturbated while looking at her on multiple occasions, wrote GPD spokesman Officer Ben Tobias in an email.
Then, on Tuesday, police responded to EndZone Bar and Grill, located at 1209 W. University Ave., on a report that Simmons was masturbating at the restaurant, Tobias wrote. When officers arrived, he ran away.
On Wednesday, police found and arrested Simmons just before 9 p.m. During questioning, he admitted to all incidents of masturbation. Police also obtained EndZone surveillance video which confirmed that Simmons masturbated at the restaurant.
Officers booked Prince into the Alachua County Jail at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, where he remained Thursday night with a $50,000 bond.
