Students get to pour their souls into their shoes Tuesday.

Style Your Sole, an event where students can purchase and decorate a pair of canvas TOMS shoes, will take place 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Reitz Union Colonnade.

Students may also bring a previously purchased pair.

Style Your Sole is part of a weeklong program dedicated to TOMS Shoes, a company known for donating one pair of its shoes to a child in need for every pair a customer purchases.

Blake Mycoskie, founder of TOMS Shoes, will cap off the week's events Wednesday night when he speaks at the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts at 8 p.m.

The week's events are co-sponsored by Accent Speakers Bureau, the UF Office of Sustainability, the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the Center for Leadership and Service, Gators Going Green and New Student Programs.
