Former UF basketball player and Chicago Bulls forward Joakim Noah entered into a plea agreement where he will be on six months probation as well as pay $150 to a charitable institution and $50 for a prosecution fee.

UF sophomore forward Jonathan Mitchell will not return to Gainesville for his junior season, a UF press release stated early Friday.
UF center Marreese Speights will enter the NBA Draft, coach Billy Donovan said in a statement Tuesday. Speights, a sophomore, will not hire an agent which means he can come back to school if he does not believe he'll be picked high enough or is not comfortable with his situation. Speights was second on the team in scoring and first in rebounding. With several big-man recruits coming in, the Gators would've had decent depth at their bigs, but without Speights that has become much more difficult now.
